Company History
Lansing Glass Company was founded in 1994 by Curt Robb and Keith Doty. Starting with smaller scale projects and gradually taking on larger ones, LGC quickly outgrew its office and shop space.
In 1999, LGC relocated from Kalamazoo Street to Alpha Access Street, hoping to keep up with the industry’s volume of work it had potential to do. It did just that! LGC was able to complete incredible projects such as Jackson National Life’s World HQ, Spartan Stadium Expansion, Hemlock Semiconductor Facility, U of M Stadium Expansion “Street Side”, and MSU Secchia Center.
In 2008, LGC continued hiring Estimators, Project Managers, and CAD Designers. During this transition, it relocated once more, to its now current location on Baker Street. This larger office and shop space has allowed LGC to become the largest glazing firm in the Lansing area. A few outstanding projects to highlight are Accident Fund Insurance Company World Headquarters, Michigan State University Federal Credit Union HQ No. 2, Mid-Michigan Community College, Sparrow Hospital Plaza Building/Cancer Center, and MSU STEM & Shaw Lane Power Plant Facility.
That history brings us to today! With a combined 44+ years of experience in the glazing industry, LGC is led by current owners, Ron VanHorn and Chris Greenfield. Under their leadership, the company will continue to excel, build new and stronger relationships, and successfully complete projects. The future is bright at Lansing Glass Company!
