Lansing Glass Company is currently hiring for the following positions:
- Project Manager
- Estimator
- CAD Operator – Detailer
Project Manager Position Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Project, etc.)
- Must be able to read and understand construction documents (blueprints and specifications)
- Must be able to read and understand shop drawings
- Knowledge of commercial construction
- Knowledge of curtain wall, storefront, glazing, and Metal Panel systems is preferred, but not required as this can be taught to the right candidate
- CAD / Drafting / Detailing experience (AutoCAD or similar) is a plus and is beneficial in the project manager role
- Communication and organization are a must via e-mail, phone calls, and in person meetings.
- Must be willing to learn and ask questions to better your knowledge of the tasks at hand
- High School Graduate
- College / Trade school degree not required but is beneficial
Estimator Position Requirements:
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Project, etc.)
- Excellent math and organization skills
- Must be able to read and understand construction documents (blueprints and specifications)
- Knowledge of curtain wall, storefront, glazing, and Metal Panel systems is preferred, but not required as this can be taught to the right candidate.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High School Graduate
- College / Trade school degree not required but is beneficial
CAD Operator – Detailer Position Requirements:
- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar
- Drafting Experience in the commercial construction industry (Architectural Detailing and / or shop drawings)
- Must be able to read and understand construction documents (blueprints and specifications)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Knowledge of curtain wall, storefront, glazing, and Metal Panel systems is preferred, but not required as this can be taught to the right candidate.
- Must be willing to learn and ask questions to better your knowledge of the tasks at hand
- High School Graduate
- College / Trade school degree not required but is beneficial
